Creggs 2nd’s

Creggs 2nds 5 OLBC 10

Creggs 2nds put in a battling display in Sundays J2 League game at the Green ,losing narrowly to a strong OLBC team. A superb try by second row Sean McNeill in the 72nd minute led to a nervous finish for OLBC as Creggs threw everything at them in search of victory. Creggs can take a lot from this game, with the players showing commitment and skill to front up to the challenge imposed by OLBC.

Edward Payne did some fine work at the base of the Creggs scrum while Sean Mc Neill, Tommy Devine,Alan Glennon,Eoghan Cahill,Graham Curran and captain Enda Tully also impressed for the home team. Creggs travel to play Monivea away next Sunday at 2.30 pm and will be hoping to build on this performance which shows that there is a lot of potential in this squad.
