The Under-20’s are in contention to win the Connacht Under-20 Blitz Series. Having won the last round, Creggs Under-20’s are in joint-second position in the Series, with two Rounds to go.

Training on Tuesdays and Fridays with the senior teams. New and returning players always welcome. Contact Dave Purcell, Pat O’Gorman, or Kevin O’Rourke.

Back in Creggs

Maurice Buckley, brother of Connacht star prop Denis, has signed back from Trinity College, where he is a student, and where he has played in the All-Ireland League with their Dublin University Football Club (which holds the unique distinction of being the oldest club in the world in continuous existence). He is eligible to play again with Creggs from next Monday. Welcome back Maurice!

A Special Mention to Creggs U13 player Callum Clarke who showed great bravery and calmness recently and saved the life of his grandfather following a near fatal incident on Killina Lake, last Thursday evening.

A Hero among us, well done to Callum and a speedy recovery to his Grandfather Sean.

Great to see rugby back on The Green today with our U16 girls welcoming Galwegians to Creggs and coming out on top in their league encounter.

Sunshine and showers , and a good crowd in attendance and plenty of smiling faces , roll on the rest of the season .
