Great season finale for Creggs Under-12 and Under-14 teams

14

Creggs Rugby welcomed Letterkenny RFC to Creggs last Sunday morning to play an Under-12 and and Under-14 friendly fixture.

On a lovely morning the Creggs Under-12 team was playing in their first 15-a-side game of rugby on a full pitch. It turned out to be a very competitive fixture against their Letterkenny opponents and Creggs won it narrowly on a scoreline of 10 – 7.

The Under-14 fixture wasn’t as competitive a fixture and Creggs won it well. It proved a very good end of season run out and a good opportunity to allow players to try out in different positions on the field.

As this was the last match of the season it was great to see so much support in Creggs on Sunday.

Creggs Rugby would like to thank all the parents and coaches for their involvement and work during another great year for mini and youths rugby. It was another year that highlighted that Creggs Mini and Youths teams are very competitive at all age levels at the top of Connacht rugby.

And we look forward to next year with optimism having watched some very talented young players on show on Sunday last.
