It was a really good performance, particularly in defence from all 20 players in the panel against a strong Sligo team. Well done to all.
With over 40 players having fielded for the first team so far this season, and the Sunday game saw eight changes from the previous weekend’s win over Westport. This shows that the strength in depth that has been building in recent years.
Creggs Rugby is currently top of the J1 League (the top division).
As we enter the Connacht League December break, next Sunday, the action switches for the Creggs First team to the Cawley Cup Final v Castlebar RFC in Crowley Park (Galwegians) in Galway, with 4.30 kick-off.
This is a competition that Creggs has won on the last two occasions and been undefeated in four years he best of luck to all the lads as they go for three in-a-row Cawley Cups.
