Munster 17. Connacht 19.

There was great Creggs Rugby Club participation in the Connacht Inter-Pro team’s win over Munster. This Round 1 game was played away in Killarney RFC last Saturday.

Brian Diffley is the Connacht Captain and lead from the front on Saturday.

Aidan Leech and Aodha Hession scored tries at key times. Great kicking from Shane Purcell (including two conversions) at 10 and his brother Mark also put in a good shift in the centre.

The second round of IRFU Junior Men’s Interprovincials takes place this Saturday (April 30th.). Connacht play Leinster, in Dubarry Park, Athlone, at 2:30pm.
