Creggs continued their great run in the Cawley Cup after edging out rivals Connemara by the narrowest of margins (28-27) in a thrilling encounter at the Green last Sunday.

Great team tries from man-of-match contenders, forward’s Brian Donoghue and Brian Diffley, as well a third from centre Mark Purcell lead the way. Shane Purcell’s shooting boot accounted for the balance.

The First team now have two weekends off, resuming the weekend after with a top of the table home League match v Westport RFC. It is hoped to have a few injured players back fit and in contention by that weekend.
