Creggs Firsts Record bonus Point League Win

Creggs RFC Firsts 35, Monivea RFC 17.

Creggs First team scored five tries on their way to a good home Connacht League win over Monivea in Creggs last Sunday afternoon.

With the bonus point picked up, Creggs are joint-top of the table, with three weeks to the next League match v fancied Westport.

Last Sunday v Monivea, the club fielded what was possibly the lowest average aged Creggs First team ever to line out in a top division Connacht League match. It was a very good performance from a young side and they showed some great skills, playing as a strong unit in often testing conditions.

Next week, the First team turn their attention to the Cawley Cup semi-final.
