Creggs U15’s

94

Creggs U15’s bowed out of the cup at the semi final stage after losing 34-22 to Monivea in Creggs recently. A Brave display by the lads in the second half brought the deficit back to 12 points but time ran out on their cup campaign for this season. Creggs only score in the first half came from a penalty from Mark Purcell and Creggs had an opportunity to score a try to take the lead after 15 minutes but the 10 minute spell before half time when Monivea scored 3 unanswered tries meant the boys had left themselves too much to do in the second half as the halftime score was 29-3. Tries from Lorcan Maher. Conor McNulty and Jack Tucker as well 2 conversions from Mark Purcell completed the Creggs scoring.
