Westport 5 Creggs 32

Creggs went to Westport on Sunday morning and came away with a bonus point victory in round 2 of the U16 League. Tries in the first half from Niall Cunniffe, Jason Hoare and Shane Purcell as well as two conversions and a penalty from Ronan Dowd gave Creggs a 22-0 half time lead. In the second half playing with the wind Creggs added two further tries from Niall Cunniffe and Ronan Dowd. Westport got in for a consolation score with the last play of the game. The U16’s have a rest weekend in the league this coming weekend.
