Game of the decade in Creggs on Sunday

21

The biggest day for Creggs Rugby in many many years will be this Sunday, when the First Team take on the League Leaders (by just one point) Connemara RFC in a must win Connacht J1 League game.

A big crowd is expected to descend on the village to see what should be a really great game.
While both teams will have two more games to play in the league after Sunday, this weekend’s result is seen by many as determining which team will be crowned Connacht League Champions for this season.

A Special Mention to Creggs U13 player Callum Clarke who showed great bravery and calmness recently and saved the life of his grandfather following a near fatal incident on Killina Lake, last Thursday evening.

A Hero among us, well done to Callum and a speedy recovery to his Grandfather Sean.

Great to see rugby back on The Green today with our U16 girls welcoming Galwegians to Creggs and coming out on top in their league encounter.

Sunshine and showers , and a good crowd in attendance and plenty of smiling faces , roll on the rest of the season .
