Connacht Under-20 Plate Final:

Creggs RFC 58, Monivea RFC 21.

The final rugby game of the season for all of Creggs teams was held in Creggs last Saturday evening when Creggs played Monivea in the Connacht Under-20 Plate Final.

Minus some lads who had college exams, injuries (including Rian Biesty who picked up an injury in the Cup Semi-Final) and two players playing with the Connacht Juniors against Ulster on the same day, Creggs still managed to have 21 Under-20 players lining-out on Saturday evening for the Connacht Plate Final which is a great credit to the lads and their commitment to the club.

There were plenty of tries on show and the skillset was there for all to see with Creggs running in 10 tries on the evening and certainly the future looks bright and we look forward to many of these young men lining out for the Creggs Firsts and Development Team next season.
