The Under-13 squad kicked off the rugby season with a friendly game against Carrick on Shannon on the 4G pitch last Saturday evening. It’s big occasion for these players, having graduated from Mini Rugby, it was their first game on a large pitch.
There were 33 players got game time for Creggs and they all embraced the new experience of 15-a-side and a full pitch.
In a good competitive game with plenty of nice rugby played by both sides, the game ended up with just two points between them on a scoreline of 22-24.

The Under-13 team had another outing lined-up for next Saturday in Creggs v Ballinasloe. However, the Level 3 Restriction will mean that this game will not now go ahead.
