Aviva Blitz in Ballina
Creggs Under-10 Boys and Girls Under-12 teams travelled to Ballina on Saturday for the Aviva Blitz.
It was a well run competition with very competitive games and the kids had a great day out. Thank you to those that drove the players up on the day.
Thanks also to all coaches, parents and players for all their help and cooperation during the year.

Creggs Connacht Mini Camp
Creggs will hold a Connacht Mini Camp in August with more details to follow. Creggs Under-11’s will travel to Athy at the end of the month for the blitz with over night camping and further details will follow on same.

Congratulations to Archie
Congratulations to Archie Naughton who has the honour of being the Connacht Rugby mascot for the big game v Munster next Saturday in Galway. Best wishes from everyone in Creggs Rugby.

Creggs RFC were honoured today with a visit from Ireland and Lions star Gordon Darcy. Beautiful weather and a large socially distanced crowd welcomed Gordon and his brother Ian to Creggs. He is on day two of a four day 850km charity cycle raising funds for Barretstown.
Gordon now a successful children's book author had many young fans waiting for him with copies of his books for signing. Gordon Darcy complimented Creggs RFC on the fabulous new development (dressing rooms and gym) which is under construction and the 4g pitch which is the only one of its kind in Connacht.
He also commended the policy which sees the facility used by other local sports clubs.
We wish Gordon well as he endeavors to complete his journey back to Dublin at the weekend.
A legend in every sense of the word.
