Winner of €10,600 Creggs LOTTO Jackpot
The Creggs Rugby LOTTO Jackpot Prize of €10,600 has been won this week by Martina Mulry, Roscommon Town.
Martina and Raymond’s son Lochlann plays rugby with the Creggs Under-15’s. Martina is a PE Teacher in Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown and Raymond is a former Roscommon county hurler.
Creggs RFC Treasurer Kieran Dowd congratulated Martina on her big win, and thanked her and everyone who supports the weekly club Lotto. It is the principle fund-raiser that helps pay for the costs of running of the club.
The IRFU has announced that it anticipates a return to competitive structures will commence in August for all Men’s and Women’s Adult teams, Under-20s, and Youth teams. Next season’s School’s and MINI rugby will follow in early September.
However, this weeks sees the welcome return of Youth and MINI Rugby in Connacht to see out the season. The full list of Creggs squad training days and times is below.
YOUTH Rugby Returns to Creggs
This week Youth Rugby training (non-contact) returned in Creggs Rugby Club.
On Mondays at 7PM the Girls Under-14’s will train.
Followed at 8PM by training for the Girls Under-16’s and Under-18’s.
On Tuesday the Boys Under-14’s will train from 7PM to 8PM.
On Thursday the Under-17’s will train from 7.30PM to 8.30PM.
FRIDAY – The Under-15’s will train at 7.15pm.
On Saturday’s, the Under-13’s will train from 12 Noon to 1pm.
NB – Under-15’s day and time to be confirmed.

MINI Rugby Returns in Creggs on Saturday
Training for Creggs Mini Rugby Players will return on next Saturday morning (May 1st.).
Covid health checks will be sent out on Clubforce apps in advance. And to assist in complying with the highest standards of safety and care, the starting times for different age-groups will be spaces as follows:
Under-6’s, Under-7’s, Under-8’s and Under-9’s will start at 10AM.
Under-10’s and Under-11’s will start at 10.15AM
Under-12’s and MINI GIRLS Rugby will start at 10.30AM.
We are looking forward to seeing all the boys and girls back for four weeks to bring a close to the season.

The Community Walkway around the grounds in Creggs RFC is open to walkers. Please note bicycles and dogs/pets are not permitted on the walkway.
Connacht Rugby Summer Camp in Creggs sold out
Creggs Rugby welcomes back the Connacht Rugby Summer Camps this year with the support of Total Health Pharmacy. Unfortunately as spaces were extremely limited for the camps this year due to new government guidelines, the Creggs Camp has already been sold out on the Connacht Rugby website.
Kicking off in Creggs on Monday the 12th of July, the shorter 3 day camp runs from 9.30am to 1pm each day, and was open to all children ages 6-12 years.
All camps are run by fully accredited IRFU coaches.
