The mini Blitz with Longford RFC was called off Saturday morning . Next weekend the Minis Boys will visit Castlebar RFC for the final away blitz of the year at 11am. The girls mini section are due to Athlone next Saturday for a mini blitz. The following weekend Claremorris will visit Creggs for a Blitz which will bring the Mini rugby to an end until January.

The Creggs U17’s game V Sligo was called off Sunday morning. The U17’s will travel to play Ballina Next Sunday at 12pm.

Creggs U14’s will travel to play Westport RFC in the League next Sunday at 12pm

Creggs U15’s will play Ballinasloe RFC next weekend. The game is not scheduled yet but will either be played Friday night under lights or Sunday at 12pm.

Creggs U13’s traveled to Castlebar last Saturday morning and lost 12-7 in a very competitive league game, The Creggs U13’s were camped for long periods in the second half and Castlebar did very well to keep the lads out. Next week Creggs U13’s will play

Creggs U16 game in Castlebar Saturday was postponed. Next weekend Ballinrobe were due to be our opposition but they cannot field so our next game is home to Castlebar on weekend of Dec 12th.

All 3 teams in action this weekend.
First up was U18s who played A training game Friday with Corrib. A very worthwhile exercise and many thanks to our hosts for making it such an enjoyable evening.
Saturday evening brought Creggs Rfc to Tuam where firstly u14s locked horns. Trys from Ailbhe Gannon,Juno Hayes,Doireann Clancy and Ceoladh Lydon were the topping on a fine team performance for this continually improving group. Strong performances too from Kyri Ruane,Louise Seoige,Sarah Smith and Heidi Watson.
Next up was the U16s. This was a cracker of a game where despite the best efforts of captain Hannah Clarke to drag her side into the game Creggs proved too strong on the day. Experienced players Beibhinn Gleeson,Keanah Irons and Charlotte O Grady continually offered themselves in both attack and defence but the powerful relentless ball carrying Creggs girls were deserving victors.

A great evenings Rugby tonight when Creggs Girls U14 and U16 travelled to play Tuam/Oughterard in Tuam in their first games of the season.

The U14's who had a lot of players playing their first ever game went down to a strong Tuam/Oughterard team but put in a great performance and then the U16"s Girls came out on top in a tough encounter against the same opposition.
