This week rugby returns after the Christmas Break

Minis: Creggs Minis return with Training next Saturday in Creggs at 11am

Youths:

U13 League: Creggs U13’s travel to Ballinasloe RFC next Saturday at 12.30pm for an U 13 A league game.

U14 league: Castlebar RFC will be visitors to Creggs next Saturday at 1.30pm to play their refixed league game that was postponed prior to Christmas.

U15 League: Following on from their good win over Claremorris RFC just before Christmas, The U15’s will welcome Carrick on Shannon RFC next Saturday evening at 6pm.

U18.5 League: Creggs U18.5’s will hope to secure a top two finish and a home semi final in the U18.5A League when they welcome Connemara RFC to Creggs next Sunday at 1.30pm. Connemara are in the running for a top 4 place themselves so this promises to be a tough encounter.

All support would be welcome for all our Youth sides.

Well done to Creggs RFC'S U18's representatives v Munster in UL today, Ciaran Purcell, Lee Kilcoyne and Eoin Kelly.

Great to see the lads playing today, not having played any game since March 2019 due to the lockdown restrictions.

Creggs RFC were honoured today with a visit from Ireland and Lions star Gordon Darcy. Beautiful weather and a large socially distanced crowd welcomed Gordon and his brother Ian to Creggs. He is on day two of a four day 850km charity cycle raising funds for Barretstown.
Gordon now a successful children's book author had many young fans waiting for him with copies of his books for signing. Gordon Darcy complimented Creggs RFC on the fabulous new development (dressing rooms and gym) which is under construction and the 4g pitch which is the only one of its kind in Connacht.
He also commended the policy which sees the facility used by other local sports clubs.
We wish Gordon well as he endeavors to complete his journey back to Dublin at the weekend.
A legend in every sense of the word.
