Loughrea RFC 19 Creggs RFC 24

Creggs Opened their U13 league campaign with a win over loughrea RFC in Loughrea last Sunday morning. Played in perfect conditions it was a great game of rugby to watch and both teams ran the ball at every opportunity. Creggs were ahead 17 – 12 at half time through tries from Mark Purcell and Naoise Coyle and a penalty and two conversions from Mark Purcell and in the second half they scored another try through Jack Tucker which was also converted by Mark Purcell. Creggs did very well up front with Andrew Naughton, Ethan Glennon, Lorcan Maher and Ronan Lambe all prominent and in the backs Darragh Kiernan, Callum Coughlan, Cian Glennon and Brandon Kilcommons all did well in attack and defence.

Creggs U13 and U14 Training continues next Friday at 7pm in Creggs.
