U13’s draw in Ballina

U13 Connacht A League: Ballina RFC 14 Creggs RFC 14

Creggs U13 travelled to Ballina RFC on Saturday for their first league game of the season and played very well losing narrowly 17-14. Although the league is uncompetitive, Both teams did their best to move the ball wide at every opportunity and there were plenty of courage displayed on both sides. The Creggs scores came from two tries from Jack McGahon and two conversions from Mark Purcell and Creggs had an opportunity to win the match when camped on their opponents line near the finish but just came up short. Prominent for Creggs up front on the day were Eric O Doherty, Jack Mcnally, Aodha Hession, Tom Farrell, Mark Purcell and in the backs David Finneran, Jack McGahon, Aaron and Adam McDermott and Karl Healy. CReggs Play Ballinasloe RFC in the league next weekend.
