Creggs RFC 27 – Ballina RFC 0

Creggs U15’s scored 5 tries on their way to victory over Ballina RFC in the U15 Cup on Saturday in Creggs. Played in difficult under foot conditions and playing with th wind in the first half the Creggs forwards took the game to the visitors and were on top through Rory Callaghan, Jack Tucker, and Luke Divilly who were prominent in the early stages. Creggs scores in the first half came from a very good block down and foot chase by Andrew Naughton and a good individual effort from Aaron Lyons who was released by Cian Glennon and beat the defence and that try was converted by Mark Purcell. In Second half playing against the wind, Creggs began to take control of the game and further tries followed from Shane Connaughton (2) and then from Lorcan Maher who was very well released by Jack Tucker who offloaded well in the tackle..
