Untimely passing of our club member Archie Naughton

Creggs RFC are deeply saddened at the loss of our club mate, team coach and friend  Archie Naughton aged 16. RIP.
To his Mum and Dad , brothers and extended family we send them our sincere sympathies.
Archie , at a young age, decided rugby was going to be his sport and joined us to play mini on Saturday mornings. As his illness took hold he decided coaching was his next move so he could stay involved and did his course with Connacht Rugby.
Everyone that met him took away memories of that smile and infectious sense  of humour. He loved a good joke.
He will be remembered by the club  in so many ways. His leading out of the Connacht Team in the Sports Ground , cutting the ribbon at the opening of our new 4G pitch and of course  his hugely popular BOI #neverstopcompeting , promoting Connacht Rugby
Rest in peace Archie.
