Creggs Under-13’s Connacht Cup Last 16 postponed game V Monivea has been re-fixed for this Tuesday at 7.45pm.

Creggs Under-14’s Connacht Cup Last 16 game V Buccaneers (away) was cancelled last weekend and will now take place at home this coming Saturday at 6pm on the 4G in Creggs.

Creggs Under-15’s White Connacht Cup Last 16 postponed game V Galwegians has been re-fixed for this Wednesday at 7pm, on the 4G pitch in Creggs.

Creggs Under-17’s Connacht Cup Quarter-Final v Ballinasloe will be played away this weekend. Day/Time TBC.

Creggs Under-16’s will play their Connacht League Final Replay v Corinthians on the weekend after next 9weekend of 15th.-16th. March)

Creggs Under-14 Girls will play the Connacht Under-14 Girls Cup Final in the Sportsground in Galway next Sunday at 12 Noon. They play the winners of Ballinasloe v Ballinrobe, which will be played this mid-week after their Semi Final had been postponed due to bad weather.

Creggs Under-18 Girls will play Tuam/Oughterard in the Quarter Final of the Connacht Under-18 Girls Plate next weekend. The Day/Time TBC. This match was cancelled last weekend due to bad weather.

Rugby is delighted to be opening up again soon and yesterday in Creggs RFC we had a unique presentation organised by Anthony Cahill from Cahill's Supervalu Castlerea.
Dr John Dillon from Castlerea proudly wore the green of Connacht back in the day and one of the his many achievements was to be part of a winning Connacht side against Ulster in Belfast in 1958.
When Connacht beat Ulster at Ravenhill in October 2018 there were two Roscommon players Denis Buckley and Jack Carty on the pitch that night, winning at Ravenhill for the first time since Dr John Dillon and his team mates some 60 years earlier thus joining a very elite group. Denis and Jack proudly presented Dr Dillon with a framed memento of his victory and a number 12 Connacht jersey as worn by Bundee Aki.
Owing to Covid 19 restrictions only a small number of people could attend including members of Dr Dillon's family. Creggs RFC was delighted to host the presentation and very appreciative of Anthony Cahill who organised the occasion and the beautiful framed memorabilia of the 1958 match.
